Countryside Grand Design

We are very excited to share one of our most recent projects, presently in the midst of construction in the Cambridgeshire countryside. This new build situated on an old farm is truely jaw dropping and the team could not wait to get started on the design of the four Bedrooms and Snug / TV room. As with most projects, we really try and push the clients colour choice to be a little bolder than they would have selected personally, and 9 times out of 10 they love it. This project was no exception, the clients enjoyed more natural colours so we selected a variety of earthy greens, dusty blues and autumn oranges, bringing the British countryside inside. As the new build property is quite contemporary, we chose furnishings with a soft abstract design, this created a space with a seamless blend between comfort and linear architecture.

We start with a consultation where we really get to know you and what makes you tick, from here we produce mood boards, plans and elevations of each room based on what we think you would love.

To help you visualise the space, we can also create high quality renders as seen in the project below, this helps our clients get a real feel of the character we have chosen for the space before construction commences. After the initial presentation, we will have a revisions meeting with the clients to iron out any creases and make relevant alterations. Then Voilà, the design process is complete and we can get on with turning your interior design.

Nature was a big influence on the design of this guest bedroom.We aimed to create a calm and serene atmosphere, selecting colours and textures that reflected the surrounding countryside. The beautiful bed and side table from Soho Home complement the high ceilings and sculptural elements of the room. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a summer evening while watching the sunset.
