Contemporary Open Plan Living/Kitchen/Diner
We recently transformed a client's 2006 Cambridgeshire home into a modern open-plan living space that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and functionality. This redesign was all about creating a space for both relaxation and entertaining, while honouring the character of the home.
To achieve this, we reimagined the space and opened up the downstairs kitchen and living area. We blended modern and contemporary design elements, such as wooden panelling, creating a feature of the media wall. Custom-built smart storage solutions, designed by Laura, add a layer of practicality while maintaining the sleek aesthetic of the space.
For the kitchen, we collaborated with the talented Penelope from Complete Kitchens Ely, who created a layout that is both beautiful and highly functional. Every detail, from the flow of the workspace to the choice of cabinetry, was considered to create a kitchen that feels like the heart of the home. Together, we designed a colour palette and finishes that tie the living, dining, and kitchen areas together, ensuring a seamless, cohesive aesthetic throughout.
The final result is a space that feels warm and tailored to our client's lifestyle. We’re thrilled to see how this home has been transformed and are excited for our clients to enjoy it for years to come.
