Annie Brown’s background is in Fine Art and is currently using the wool from her wool only flock of rare breed sheep, to make her needle felted paintings.She is influenced by the landscape and the nature within it.
Using the natural and hand dyed wool from her sheep you will have the opportunity to make, a small picture or brooch, of flowers in alandscape/woodland setting. This workshop is perfect for those new to needle felting or those looking to develop their techniques. You will learn more about Annie’s sheep and see samples of their wool. By the end of the workshop, you will have an experimental piece and a finished piece to take away with you.

All materials you will need are included. The kit to take away, includes hand dyed wool, felting needles, an eco-friendly felting pad made from the wool of Annie’s sheep, 2 felted bases to work on, a brooch pin, a help sheet and an experimental kit to use before going onto the main piece.
Our shop is in a very old building, with narrow winding stairs. The workshops are being held upstairs so unfortunately they are not accessible for wheel chairs.
